PROGRAM APPLICATION

If you would like to apply for the Honors Program (Dahlonega campus), you may apply online by clicking on the link above.

 *Applications and letters of recommendation for Fall 2014 admission are due by April 9, 2014.  Our early decision deadline (for High School applicants) is January 31, 2014.  Currently enrolled college students may apply at any time.

COURSE UPGRADES

If you wish to upgrade a regular class to an Honors section, fill out the following form with the help of your instructor and give it to the above. Please note that only 3000-4000 level classes can be upgraded, and also note that this form must be submitted during the first few weeks of the semester to be considered by the Honors Council. For Fall Semester 2014, completed applications are due by August 30.

STUDY ABROAD SCHOLARSHIPS

To apply for a study abroad scholarship, submit the application linked below. Funding decisions will be made in February for summer travel. The application deadline for Fall 2013 study abroad funding is June 11, 2013. Consult with the Program Director for upcoming semesters.

HONORS THESIS

Before you begin an Honors Thesis, you must submit a completed Honors Thesis contract to the director.  To apply for an Honors Thesis scholarship, we require an approved Honors Thesis contract, a letter of support from your thesis chair, and a letter outlining how funds will be used.
