Kate directs the university's media relations, publications, marketing, and communication activities. Her responsibilities include serving as the university's primary spokesperson and overseeing media relations, alumni relations, university publications and communications projects. A graduate of the University of Georgia Grady College of Journalism, her public relations experience spans two decades in education, government, corporate, and non-profit entities.

Edie Rogers

With a strong newsroom background, Edie manages the office's daily media relations activities and writes and edits content for North Georgia News and other university publications. She also provides planning and communications support for university events. Edie is a graduate of the University of West Georgia.

Barbara Seaton

Barbara is a 2002 graduate of North Georgia and holds a bachelor's degree in computer science. She works with both University Relations and the Office of Information Technology to develop and manage content for the university's website and provides training and support to campus web coordinators.

Lacey Pyle

Lacey's design experience ranges from non-profits to military, broadcast communications to specialized marketing, including web, print, and interactive environments. A graduate of LSU and Southeastern Louisiana University, she has awards  from Graphic Design USA's annual American Graphic Design Awards competitions in 2010 and 2011. Lacey is responsible for maintaining the visual identity of the university, production of The Leader, and web design. She also serves on the University Press's Faculty Advisory Board.
